AMA Gold leader Club #151

The Red Barons RC club is a non-profit organization and AMA chartered #151.  This makes our club one of the oldest AMA RC Chartered Clubs in the United States.  Established in 1967, our flying field is located on private property at the Toyota Amphitheater in Wheatland, CA just 30 minutes north of Sacramento.

Hello Flyers,
I hope this email finds you all well. I wanted to give each of you an update on our field and flying privileges. After several attempts and quite frankly a final ditch effort to say "I'm not leaving until I speak with someone", Live Nation finally agreed to meet with me to discuss our privileges.
We were able to negotiate some "new" rules and discuss some current rules that need to be re-addressed with club members and both will be sent out shortly when I get them complete. As a result,  we got our field back and our flying privileges have been re-instated and we can go fly effective Sunday September 4th.  There are concerts on Friday and Saturday of this week. Our lock will be back out there Saturday night and we can start flying Sunday the 4th so get those planes ready and let's get out there. Most of our "new" regulations with Live Nation are "behind the scenes" so don't let it stop you from flying effective Sunday. Can't wait to see those propellers turnin'
What happened out there was unfortunate. I realize there are always 2 sides to every story, I am sorry to say it did cost a good pilot and a nice guy their membership to our club.

I have to remind everyone that following the rules AND responding respectfully to Amphitheater employees are critical to the relationship between our club and Live Nation.

As always, any questions or concerns don't hesitate to let me know.

Best Regards,

Brian
